What makes a BBQ with friends perfect? A good selection of bites of course. But, perhaps, as another cookout season is nigh you find yourself scratching your head, and rubbing your belly, and wondering, well what comes next? To this we would like to point you towards our piergo skewers.

In case you’re unfamiliar with their game, pierogis are small dumplings hailing from no other than Poland. Often filled with cheese, meet, or potatoes, they make for a truly savory bite. Typically, you can boil them or heat them up on the stovetop for a crispier take on the traditional food. But we had the idea, why not fire them up on the grill with our pierogi skewers! Paired with some gorgeous summer vegetables, it will make for a meal that is as nutritious as it is delicious. Have we piqued your interest and your hunger? Great, then’t let’s get started!

Thankfully our grilled pierogi skewers is straight forward and simple. Start by simpling cutting the pierogi into thick slices or bite-sized chunks. Thread them onto skewers alternately with other ingredients of your choice. Then you can brush them with a marinade before grilling them until crispy, usually this takes no longer than a few minutes.

As we said, this recipe is really adaptable to your pantry and cravings. We suggest, for example, a mix of of bacon, zucchini, onions, and cherry tomatoes. This brings both flavor, texture, and some good ole nutrients and vitamins. As for the marinade, a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, paprika, honey, and some salt and pepper should do the trick. Sounds delicious? Then try the recipe yourself!

We could wax poetic on just how good grilling season is! But what’s better than saying is doing. So once you’ve gotten your fill of our grilled pierogi skewers, if possible, go and try out our other summertime cookout recipes, including: our refreshingly sweet sugar snap pea and feta salad, cheeky green margarita, and finger-lickin’ corn ribs.
