3 Potato Dishes That Could Win Awards

I’m always looking for easy recipes for lunch or a quick dinner. There are just days when we don’t feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen, but we still want something healthy and homemade. For those moments, our instant noodle soup in a jar is perfect. But why not try it out for yourself!

How to Make Your Own Instant Noodle Soup

The highlight of our instant noodle soup in a jar is not only its truly simple preparation, but also its versatility. You can choose the ingredients freely and adjust the jar to be your own cup of tea, or in this case, your own jar of noodles.

In this recipe, it’s shiitake mushrooms, peas, carrots, and smoked tofu that carry the team. And of course, as per the name, noodles shouldn’t be missing either. Instant ramen noodles are perfect for this in our humble opinion.

To make your own instant noodles, begin by cutting the carrots into thin sticks and dicing the tofu. So that the mushrooms are nice and soft at the end, pour boiling water over them and let them soak for about ten minutes. Then squeeze them out and cut them into slices. Miso paste, oil, and salt will bring the flavor.

Once everything is prepared, simply layer all the ingredients in a large mason jar. Finally, just add hot water and let everything sit for five minutes. Now, your comfortingly warm and incredibly aromatic soup is ready. Optionally, add some chopped scallions before serving for a pop of color, flavor and texture.

This preppable meal saves time, money, and tastes much better than any instant soup from the supermarket. Our instant noodle soup in a jar is not without reason one of my favorite recipes given how incredibly quick and nutritious it is. Whether your under the weather, looking for comfort, or just plain and simple good eating: Our instant noodle soup is hard to beat!
