In the summer, the kitchen stays cold. Well, not quite. For our grilled peach salad with burrata you need a grill pan or a grill. But just minimally! And for a big pay off too. We’ll show you how easy it is to make this delicious recipe.
Our Grilled Peach Salad: Ready in Just 15 Minutes
Light salads are very popular in summer, and for good reason! They are a fresh meal and usually quick to prepare. Our grilled peach salad with burrata is definitely one of them. You only need to set aside 15 minutes to make this gorgeous dish.
Have you ever grilled a peach? If not, today is your debut. Grilled fruit tastes wonderfully tender, intensely fruity, and also carry a slight smoky note. As a highlight in a green salad, grilled peach becomes a true flavor explosion. You can grill the peach in two different ways: either in a grill pan on the stove or directly on the grill. You’ll know the peaches are ready when its flesh is slightly tender and they have developed sear marks.
The rest of the salad is also quick to make. You need butter lettuce, such as Boston or bibb, burrata, and walnuts, which you briefly roast in the pan with a little honey. Arrange everything together on two plates and drizzle with a dressing of olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. The salad makes a great main meal on warm summer days, but is also a good side dish for BBQs.
Another plus for our grilled peach salad is its versatility. Feel free to try other ingredients. For example, add cherry tomatoes. And instead of walnuts, roasted pine nuts can also provide crunch. No matter which way you make it, this salad will be delicious!
