Ingredients
  

  • cups peaches
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • cups softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cup milk
  • powdered Sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • First preheat your oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the peaches into eighths.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs. Incorporate the butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat everything for about 5–10 minutes until the batter is creamy.
  • Stir in the milk, then carefully fold in the dry mixture. Briefly combine until a dough forms.
  • Spread the dough evenly on the baking sheet and smooth it out with a spatula. Arrange the peach slices on top and gently press them into the dough.
  • Bake the peach cake for about 40 minutes on the middle rack. Let the cake cool and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
