For the batter:

For the decoration:

chocolate glaze

Nutella
chocolate shavings
Instructions
Grease a 9-inch springform pan and preheat the oven to 350°F.
Beat butter and sugar for several minutes until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla extract. Beat in eggs one at a time. Finally, stir in Nutella.
Combine all dry ingredients and mix with buttermilk and egg mixture until smooth.
Pour batter into prepared pan, smooth top, and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before removing from pan.
Melt chocolate glaze in a double boiler or heatproof bowl set over simmering water. Stir in Nutella until smooth.
Spread frosting over cake and decorate with chocolate shavings.
