Homemade Fish Sticks

Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz boneless cod fillets or pollock fillets
  • lemon juice
  • salt & pepper
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • tbsp canola oil

Instructions
 

  • Cut the fish fillet into 1¼-inch wide strips and season with some lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Next, coat the fish in flour, then in the whisked eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the breaded fish fillets until golden brown on all sides. Be careful, the oil may splatter!
  • Drain the homemade fish sticks on paper towels.
