Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb day-old bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2/3 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 1/4 cups heated milk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil plus some oil for frying
  • 3 slices cooked ham
  • 10 cherry tomatoes cut in half
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 mozzarella ball cut into slices

Instructions
 

  • Cut the white bread into small cubes and slide them into a large bowl.
  • Add the eggs, 1/3 cup of parmesan, and the milk. Season with salt and pepper, then knead the ingredients into a dough.
  • Press half of the dough mix flat onto a hot pan with some olive oil, covering the entire surface.
  • Lay slices of ham on top, then add cherry tomatoes, oregano, 1/4 cup of olive oil, and the remaining 1/3 cup of parmesan. Lay the mozzarella slices on top and press the rest of the dough mixture onto the filling.
  • Cover the pan with a large plate and turn the pan over. Slide the dumpling back into the pan to fry the other side.
  • Once both sides are fried, your giant pan-fried dumpling is ready to serve!
