Easy Peach Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can peaches sliced
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 eggs
  • cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Drain the peach slices.
  • In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar, a pinch of salt, and eggs with a mixer for about 5 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and lemon zest. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  • Grease a springform pan and pour in the batter evenly. Arrange the peach slices on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
