Equipment

  • Plastic Wrap
  • Pan

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1.25 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1.67 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  • Combine the ground beef, egg, parsley, onion, paprika, salt, and pepper. Lay out a piece of plastic wrap and spread an evenly thick layer of the ground beef mixture on it.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the ground beef and use the plastic wrap to shape it into a roll. Freeze the ground beef roll for 90 minutes.
  • For the batter, combine the flour, eggs, salt, and milk and mix until smooth.
  • Take the ground beef roll out of the freezer and remove the plastic wrap. Cut the meat into about ½-inch thick slices.
  • Heat some oil in a pan, dredge the ground beef slices in the batter, and fry them in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes per side.
