Marble Bundt Cake
Turn a plain old bundt cake into a cute marble moment with standard cake batter and some cocoa powder.

- 9-inch Bundt pan
Ingredients
- 4 egg whites
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder divided
Instructions
- Separate the egg yolks and egg whites into 2 different bowls.
- Add ¾ cup sugar to the egg whites and ⅓ cup sugar to the egg yolks. Use a hand mixer to whisk the ingredients in both bowls until stiff.
- Add the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, milk, and baking powder from the list of ingredients for each batter. Sieve the flour into both bowls and then mix everything again with a hand mixer.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and start layering the two cake batters into the bundt pan. Start with about half of the yellow batter and pour it into the pan. Then sieve ⅓ of the cocoa powder over the batter.
- Pour in half of the white batter and sprinkle ⅓ of the cocoa powder on top. Pour the rest of the yellow batter in the pan, sieve the rest of the cocoa powder over it, and then add the rest of the white batter. Transfer the bundt pan to the oven and bake for 40 minutes.

If you want to add a little bit more color to this cake, you can definitely experiment with food coloring to your heart's content. For instance, we're having visions of a beige and pink marble cake. What do you think?
