Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 lbs pork spareribs
  • 16 fl oz beer
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic for the marinade
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar for the marinade
  • 1 tbsp salt for the marinade
  • 1 tbsp onion powder for the marinade
  • 1 tbsp chili powder for the marinade
  • 3 tbsp olive oil for the marinade
  • 10 oz ketchup for the BBQ sauce
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup for the BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce for the BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce for the BBQ sauce
  • 4 tbsp apple cider vinegar for the BBQ sauce
  • 7 fl oz pineapple juice for the BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter for the BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp salt for the BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Place the pork spareribs in a large baking dish, add the marinade ingredients, and massage them into the meat. Cover the ribs and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or even better, overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Add the BBQ sauce ingredients to a large pan over medium heat, stir together, and let cook for 5 minutes. Pour the BBQ sauce and beer over the ribs.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and cook the ribs for 3 hours. Serve the BBQ spareribs with corn on the cob and potato wedges for a country-style feast.
