Equipment

  • Pan

Ingredients

  • 4 slices kielbasa
  • flour
  • beaten egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • oil for frying
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 5 fl oz water
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8.8 oz pasta spirals

Instructions

  • Cut four slices from the kielbasa, each a little under half an inch thick. Coat them in flour, then dip them in egg and finally cover them in breadcrumbs.
  • Fry them in a pan with hot oil until they're golden brown on both sides.
  • To prepare the sauce, melt the butter in a pan and add the tomato paste. When they're evenly mixed together, add the flour while stirring continuously. Continue stirring while adding the water and the ketchup. Next, season the sauce with sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Cook the pasta while you're making the sauce.
  • When it's all done, serve up your Kielbasa Schnitzel with the pasta and sauce on the side.
