Equipment

  • Baking pan

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 egg yolk egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp spinach, boiled
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

  • To make the dough, put all of the ingredients except the spinach and the tomato paste in a bowl and knead it. Cover with a clean, dry dish towel and let the dough rise for one hour.
  • Split the dough into three equal portions. One of them stays as it is while one is mixed with the tomato paste and the other with the boiled spinach.
  • Now roll the dough portions out on a floured surface. Make sure to keep the dough at a size that will fit into a baking pan. Lay the rolled out portions on top of each other with the uncolored portion at the bottom. Now roll them together. Put the roll in a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes at 370°F.
