Ingredients
  

  • 600 g pork cutlet approx. 100g per portion
  • 120 g cheese, grated
  • vegetable oil
  • 60 g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cups brown mushrooms
  • 360 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 spring onions, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Lay three cutlets side-by-side in a casserole dish, sprinkle on half the cheese, and lay the other cutlets on top.
  • Heat up the oil in a pan, add the bacon, onion, and mushrooms, and fry. Add the cream, curry powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Let simmer for five minutes.
  • Pour the sauce into the casserole dish and sprinkle the rest of the cheese and the spring onion on top. Bake at 355 F for 30 minutes.

Notes

Rice is a great side dish for this saucy delight and a nice fresh salad can round off the meal nicely. And if you want to try something completely different, you can cut the Schnitzel into small strips and serve it on pasta. Whichever way you choose to serve it, one thing is guaranteed: you've never had Schnitzel like this before!
