French Fry Corn Dogs
Love corn dogs? Well friends, take it one step further with this fun recipe. You might also want to rent a Ferris wheel and break out those juggling balls, because it's about to get festive in the kitchen!
Ingredients
- 12 oz french fries
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 hot dogs
Instructions
- Cut the french fries into small pieces.
- Mix the cornmeal, flour, and sugar. Add the eggs and milk and stir the ingredients until smooth.
- Spread the french fries on a baking pan or a large plate. Cut the hot dogs in half and press them onto wooden skewers. Now dip the hot dogs into the batter and then over the french fry pieces. Press the french fries firmly onto the batter if they do not easily stick.
- Using either a deep fryer or a pot of hot oil, fry your creations until golden brown.
