Bacon Cheese Balls
These bites are a step up from the average cheese ball. Be sure to add them to your next party buffet!
Equipment
- Large Bowl
- Small cookie scoop
- Tray
Ingredients
- 10 oz cream cheese
- 1.5 cups grated cheese
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 4.5 oz bacon chopped
- 1/3 cup pecans chopped
- 1/2 cup chives chopped
- 12 pretzel sticks
Instructions
- Mix the cream cheese, grated cheese, garlic, and spices in a large bowl. Using a small cookie scoop, form 12 balls from the cheese mixture. Place the balls on a tray and let them chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the coating: mix the bacon bits, pecans, and chives in a bowl. Roll each cooled cheese ball in the mixture so that it is thoroughly covered. Finally, add a pretzel stick "handle" and that's it!

Notes
As far as the coating goes, there is so much room for creativity. Feel free to use different nuts or spices to create a cheese ball that best suits your taste. Enjoy!
