The ingredients for the Snickers bowl are as simple as they are tempting: cottage cheese, oatmeal, peanut butter, honey, chopped peanuts, and chocolate chips. Preparation is simple and can be done even half-asleep: Roast peanuts without any oil, mix the remaining ingredients together in a bowl. In the blink of an eye, and the flick of a wrist, your Snickers bowl is ready to be enjoyed.

SNICKERS BREAKFAST BOWL

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup roasted peanuts
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 1⅓ pounds low-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • ¼ cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 1½ tablespoons chopped dark chocolate

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Roast peanuts in a non-stick pan over medium heat without any oil.
  2. Add rolled oats, cocoa, and 2 tsp honey to the pan. Stir for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese with peanut butter, remaining honey, and milk thoroughly. Split evenly between two bowls.
  4. Roughly chop the chocolate.
  5. Top the cottage cheese with the peanut-oatmeal mixture, chopped chocolate, and drizzle with honey. Your Snickers bowl is ready!
