Sausage Casserole with Tomatoes, Bread, and Chickpeas

- 1 (9×13 in.) oval baking dish
Ingredients
- 1 small baguette
- 3 cups cherry tomatoes
- 4 garlic cloves
- 10 Italian sausages (salsiccia)
- 2 cans (10 oz.) canned chickpeas
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Toast the baguette until crispy and golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside.
- Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.
- Peel and mince the garlic.
- Cut the baguette into bite-sized pieces.
- In the baking dish, combine the tomatoes, garlic, and baguette pieces. Add a splash of water and toss to combine.
- Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
