Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch basil
  • ½ bunch chives
  • 2 organic limes
  • 1 cup room temperature butter
  • 2 tsp chili flakes
  • salt & pink peppercorns

Instructions
 

  • Wash the basil and chives, pluck the basil leaves, and finely chop both herbs. Wash the limes with hot water, dry them, and grate about 1 tsp of zest.
  • Cut the limes and squeeze out about 2 tbsp of juice.
  • Combine the butter with the basil, chives, lime zest, and lime juice, and season to taste with chili flakes, salt, and pink peppercorns.
  • Let the butter firm up in the refrigerator for 60 minutes.
