Homemade Spiral Pizza With Bratwurst, Tomatoes & Mozzarella

You probably think you've heard of, seen, and tasted every possible kind of pizza out there. But then you would be so, so wrong – we guarantee you've never heard of, seen, or tasted anything like this before! This unique take on sausage pizza combines your two culinary summer loves: pizza and grilling. Wow!

You'll Need:

  • 1 large bratwurst ring
  • shredded mozzarella
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • oregano

For the pizza dough:

  • 8 oz Greek yogurt
  • 9 oz flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Here's How:

1. Fry the sausage on both sides and let it cool.

2. Combine the pizza dough ingredients and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Roll the dough out into a circle, place the cooled bratwurst ring in the center, and spread it out.

3. Fold the dough edges down over the outer sausage spiral. Poke a hole in the center of the dough circle and fold the edges over the middle sausage spiral. Sprinkle cheese and tomatoes on top.

4. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

This dish combines pizza and BBQ food in such a harmonious way, you can't help but dive in!
