Air fryers have become increasingly popular in recent years, and for good reason. These handy kitchen appliances offer a healthy alternative to traditional frying, because they use hot air instead of oil to cook food. But can you also cook raw potatoes in the air fryer? Yes, you can, and we’ll show you how!
Here’s How to Make Potatoes in the Air Fryer
Another reason why air fryers are so popular is how easy they are to use. Most appliances are user-friendly and require little to no oil, making meal preparation both quick and simple. They are also easier to clean than conventional fryers because less fat is used and they often contain dishwasher-safe parts.
These gizmos are also seriously time-saving and often require less time to preheat and cook than a conventional oven. This makes air fryers ideal for preparing quick meals during busy week days. These fryers are also incredibly versatile. You can not only make such goodies as french fries and chicken wings, but also vegetables, fish, meat, and even baked goods. The machine’s even heat distribution ensures that the food is cooked evenly on all sides. No matter what you cook, the result will always: crispy and juicy dishes with a gorgeous, golden-brown crust.
This is also the case with air fryer potatoes. Simply, wash the potatoes. Then, toss the potatoes in some oil, herbs, and spices for flavor. Now, all you have to do is put them in the air fryer and cook them for 20 minutes. It couldn’t be quicker or easier, could it?
Because the air fryer is so versatile, we’ll show you some more delicious recipes, like our air fryer baked oats and air fryer cherry empanadas. For a savory bite our corn ribs can also be adapted to the air fryer.
