How to Make Air Fryer Croissants
There’s almost nothing better on the weekend than taking your time for a leisurely breakfast and indulging in slower pleasures that the average busy weekday won’t allow. Nothing better embodies a gorgeous and slow start to the day than a croissant, and if you have an air fryer at home, you are at liberty have a fresh one with just a few ingredients and in just a few minutes.
All you need for fresh croissants is a sheet of refrigerated puff pastry, an egg, and some know-how. First, roll out the dough and using a knife or rolling cutter, cut the sheet into four equal triangles. Then roll them up from the wide to narrow end to create the typical crescent shape. Once you have them properly rolled, whisk the egg and brush the pastries with it. This will create a nice shine after baking.
Preheat the air fryer to 320°F and place a special piece of parchment paper in the basket. Spread the croissant dough pieces on it with some space between them and bake for about ten minutes until they are puffed up and golden brown. Let them cool briefly and enjoy your crispy warm croissant with, for example, butter and your favorite jam.
