Homemade Fish Sticks
Ingredients
- 14 oz boneless cod fillets or pollock fillets
- lemon juice
- salt & pepper
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- breadcrumbs
- 4½ tbsp canola oil
Instructions
- Cut the fish fillet into 1¼-inch wide strips and season with some lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Next, coat the fish in flour, then in the whisked eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the breaded fish fillets until golden brown on all sides. Be careful, the oil may splatter!
- Drain the homemade fish sticks on paper towels.
