Everyone knows how to use one to cut hard-boiled eggs, but egg slicers can also be used to slice up hot dogs in fun new ways, separate eggs quickly, and even to decorate bite-sized snacks. 1. Breakfast Toast With Hot Dog Swirls

You'll Need:

  • 2 hot dogs
  • 3 eggs, scrambled
  • 1 slice of bread
  • chopped chives 
  • pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying

Here's How:

1.1 For the hot dog swirls, push 2 hot dogs through the egg slicer, cutting them into thin slices.

1.2 Heat a skillet with a thick layer of vegetable oil on the stove and fry the hot dog slices until they curl up and get crispy. Once the hot dog slices have fried, place them on a paper towel to soak up any excess oil.

1.3 Scramble the eggs, then place them on the slice of bread. Top the egg sandwich off with chopped chives, hot dog swirls, and freshly ground pepper.

You'll Need:

  • 2 slices of white bread
  • ketchup
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp chopped chives 
  • butter for frying

Here's How:

3.1 Heat a nonstick frying pan on the stove and position the egg slicer over it. Crack the egg directly into the egg slicer and let the egg white fall into the frying pan. Spread the egg white evenly over the entire surface of the frying pan.

3.2 Place the first slice of bread in the center of the egg white while it's cooking. After it has cooked briefly, flip the whole thing over using a spatula.

3.3 Place the egg yolk that's left in the egg slicer in the center of the egg white and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella, sliced red onion, and chopped chives on top.

3.4 Fold the sides of the egg white inwards towards the center.

3.5 Squirt some ketchup on top of the folded egg white and cover it with the second slice of bread. Fry the uncooked side of the sandwich, then dig in!

4. Chocolate Cinnamon Bites

You'll Need:

  • 16 slices of bread
  • 1 dark chocolate bar
  • cinnamon 
  • ¾ stick butter, melted

Here's How:

4.1 Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Cut the crust off of a slice of white bread and place 1 piece of dark chocolate in its center. Fold the slice of bread over the piece of dark chocolate and press it together firmly so that it forms a small ball.

4.2 Dip the chocolate-stuffed bread in melted butter and generously sprinkle the egg slicer with cinnamon.

4.3 Place the folded piece of toasted bread on the egg slicer and push it down so that it gets dusted with cinnamon.

4.4 Place the chocolate cinnamon bites on the baking tray, transfer the baking tray to the oven, and bake them at 325°F for 17 minutes. These chocolate cinnamon bites taste extra delicious when they're served warm!
