We love breakfast eggs! Whether they're hard-boiled, fried, scrambled, or poached, you can never go wrong with a good egg. But if you want to step up your egg game and try something new, these 5 egg hacks are sure to do the trick.

1. Poached Egg in the Microwave

You'll Need:

  • 4 fl oz water
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • mug

Here's How:

Add the water and vinegar to a mug, crack the egg over the mug, and microwave for 1 minute (place a saucer over the top of the mug for even better results). Drain the water from the mug and the enjoy the world's fastest and tastiest poached egg.

2. Soft-Boiled Egg in a Coffee Pot

You'll Need:

  • 10 cups of water (full coffee pot)
  • 3 eggs
  • coffee machine

Here's How:

Fill the coffee machine with water and put 3 eggs in the coffee pot. Turn on the machine, let the water run through, and leave the eggs in the coffee pot for about 10 minutes.

3. Mini Omelets

You'll Need:

  • 2 eggs
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • filling of your choice (we recommend rice, bell peppers, and chives)
  • crème fraîche

Here's How:

Whisk two eggs and season with salt and pepper. Cook the rice, dice a pepper, and mix in the chives. Grease a ladle with oil, add 3-4 tbsp of the egg mixture to the hot spoon, and swirl the mixture around slightly while you hold the ladle over an open flame. Fill the mini omelet with the filling of your choice, and fold it over. Add a dollop of crème fraîche to the plate.

4. Black Fried Eggs

You'll Need:

  • 3 eggs
  • 5 oz black olives

Here's How:

Separate 3 eggs, add the egg whites and olives to a blender, and mix until smooth. Pour the mixture into a lightly greased pan over low heat and let it cook. Add the 3 egg yolks and continue to cook until it's just how you like it.

5. Fried Egg in the Microwave

You'll Need:

  • plate
  • oil or butter
  • egg

Here's How:

Heat the plate in the microwave for 2 minutes. Then add butter or oil to the plate, crack an egg on it, and lightly stab the top of the yolk with a sharp knife so it doesn't explode while cooking. Place the plate in the microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute and let it cool slightly before eating.
