2 Fun Ways To Eat Pasta And Noodles: Deep-Fried Ramen And Cheesy Spaghetti Cake

One look at these dishes and you'll be more than ready to eat oodles and oodles of noodles! 

1. Deep-Fried Ramen Fingers

Yield: 4–5
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Difficulty Level: Easy

You'll Need:

  • 1 package of instant ramen noodles 
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 egg
  • wooden skewers
  • sweet chili sauce to serve
  • cooking oil for frying

Here's How:

1.1 Boil some water in a kettle and open the package of ramen noodles. Place the ramen noodles in a frying pan and pour 2 cups of boiling water over them. Cover the noodles and let them sit for 5 minutes, then drain the water out.

1.2 Add an egg and the seasoning from the package of instant ramen to the cooked noodles, then stir everything together thoroughly.

1.3 Heat a pot filled with cooking oil to 320°F and wrap a small amount of seasoned ramen noodles around each wooden skewer.

1.4 Fry the ramen noodles in hot cooking oil until golden brown, then remove the skewers. Dip your delicious deep-fried ramen fingers in sweet chili sauce to serve.

2. Spaghetti Cake

Yield: 1
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Difficulty Level: Easy

You'll Need:

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1½ cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs

Here's How:

2.1 Cook the spaghetti in boiling water, drain it, and let it cool slightly. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a 10-inch bundt cake pan with butter. Stir together the cooked spaghetti, cheese, milk, eggs, salt & pepper, then transfer the mixture to the bundt cake pan.

2.2 Transfer the bundt cake pan to the oven and bake the spaghetti cake at 400°F for 37 minutes, until golden brown.

2.3 Flip the bundt cake pan over onto a large serving plate and slice into your cheesy spaghetti cake!
