If you ever find yourself at a loss for dinner, you have no idea how to make a pie crust, and the fridge is mostly empty, we're pretty sure this innovative adaptation of the quiche will get you out of a pinch! And you may even convince the man of the house to try it!

You'll Need:

  • 8 eggs
  • ⅔ cup cream
  • 4 oz ham, cut into squares
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar
  • 4 oz shredded mozzarella
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 slices bread (tip: it doesn't have to be white bread!)
  • 1 tbsp chives

Here's How:

  1. Beat the eggs with cream and add the ham, onion, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cut the crusts off 4 bread slices and use them to line the bottom of a square casserole dish. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and spread the surface smooth. Sprinkle with chives and bake at 350 °F for 30 minutes.

So, who's got a man-sized appetite and wants to try the first bite? Shhhhhhhhh! It'll be our secret!
