Twist into a braid and then into the oven: Marinated Tenderloin Twist

Normally when we think about food and hair the associations aren't very appetizing — the last thing we want is to find a follicle in our fillet! But with this next recipe we've put a "twist" on the hair and food combination by braiding the meat to create a yummy and — dare I say — stylish dish. Here's one we call the Marinated Tenderloin Twist...

You'll need:

  • 1 pork tenderloin
  • potatoes
  • olive oil
  • rosemary, chopped
  • salt

For the marinade:

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Here's how:

  1. First prepare the marinade by mixing all of the ingredients.
  2. Cut the tenderloin lengthwise into three equal-sized pieces, but don't cut right to the end. Now braid the three pieces and baste the tenderloin with marinade.
  3. Prepare the potatoes by mixing them with olive oil, rosemary, and salt.
  4. Place the potatoes and the marinated tenderloin on an oven tray and bake for 30 minutes at 375° F.

You don't have to be a hairdresser to make this style come out perfect. It's a hearty meal packed full of flavor for the next time you're in the mood for some meat and potatoes — and you can't deny that this is one "hair" you'll be happy to have on your plate!
