Twist into a braid and then into the oven: Marinated Tenderloin Twist

Credit: MediaPartisans

Normally when we think about food and hair the associations aren’t very appetizing — the last thing we want is to find a follicle in our fillet! But with this next recipe we’ve put a “twist” on the hair and food combination by braiding the meat to create a yummy and — dare I say — stylish dish. Here’s one we call the Marinated Tenderloin Twist…

Ingredients

  • 1 pork tenderloin
  • potatoes
  • olive oil
  • rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions

  • Mix all of the marinade ingredients together.
  • Cut the tenderloin lengthwise into three equal-sized pieces, but don't cut right to the end. Now braid the three pieces and baste the tenderloin with marinade.
  • Mix the potatoes with olive oil, rosemary, and salt.
  • Place the potatoes and the marinated tenderloin on an oven tray and bake for 30 minutes at 375° F.
