Ingredients
- 3 starchy potatoes
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp starch
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 0.25 cup flour
Instructions
- Peel three starchy potatoes, divide them into quarters and cook them in boiling water until they turn soft.
- Pour the cooked potatoes into a bowl and mash them with a fork.
- Add starch, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, egg, and flour to the mashed potatoes and mix everything thoroughly.
- Roll out the potato mixture between two sheets of parchment paper sprinkled with flour.
- Cut out round slices using a cookie cutter, glass, or cup. Create smiley faces by cutting out eyes with a straw and making mouths with the round edge of a spoon.
- Fry the potato smileys in hot oil until they turn golden brown.
