Spaghetti & Meatballs Pizza is probably the best pizza recipe of the year!

Italian cooking is known for two traditional dishes above all others: pizza and spaghetti. Now the obvious idea of combining these two favorites into one super dish has finally become a reality...

You'll need:

For the meatballs:

  • 9 oz ground beef
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 2¾ tbsp breadcrumbs
  • ½ clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 3 tbsp parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper

For the pizza dough:

  • 17½ oz flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 fl oz water

In addition:

  • 7 oz cooked spaghetti
  • 8½ fl oz tomato sauce
  • 4 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 1¾ oz grated mozzarella

Here's how:

  1. First prepare the meatballs by mixing all the ingredients together and then shaping the mixture into about 12 small balls.
  2. Fry the meatballs evenly on all sides and then add the tomato sauce and the spaghetti into the pan and mix it all together.
  3. For the pizza dough, mix all the necessary ingredients together in a bowl, making sure to add the water last. Knead everything into a smooth dough, cover it and leave it to stand for an hour.
  4. Roll out the dough and place it on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Get the spaghetti and meatballs from the pan and place them on the dough. Sprinkle the parmesan and mozzarella on top. Then bake the pizza in a convection oven for 10 minutes at 420°F.

If you're veering back and forth on whether you'd rather have pizza or spaghetti for lunch, you no longer have to torment yourself with making the decision. With this recipe, the either-or question is a thing of the past, because from now on, you can just have both at once!
