Noodles for breakfast? Who would’ve thunk it. But trust that this pancake spaghetti, just makes sense. The pasta is made from pancake batter and then playfully topped with strawberry jam and white chocolate to give the full spaghetti effect. This creative combination will surprise and delight everyone at the breakfast table, especially the little ones.
Pancake Spaghetti: A Creative Breakfast Idea
To make pancake spaghetti, first, mix up a classic pancake batter consisting of flour, eggs, sugar, salt, and milk. Next, pour the batter into a piping bag. Next, heat up a non-stick pan and make sure, of course, to lightly grease it.
Now, here is where the recipe gets creative. Using a piping bag, pipe thin strips of batter onto the hot pan in a wavy pattern and cook until golden brown. Continue this process until all the batter is used. Finally, simply arrange the pancake spaghetti on plates and garnish with strawberry jam and grated white chocolate.
Alternatively, if piping seems too complicated, you can also simply cook regular pancakes in the pan. Afterwards, roll them up, and cut them into thin strips.
Of course, you can also serve the pancake spaghetti with any jam of choice. Fresh fruit and yogurt, strawberry sauce, chocolate cream, and powdered sugar can just as well be used for a delicious creation. The possibilities are endless, and anything goes as long as you and your family enjoy it. Even savory variations with herbs in the batter or a cream cheese sauce could make for a breakfast, or brunch, or even dinner to remember.
Pancake spaghetti shows just how fun food can be – without any complicated preparation. So, if you’re in the mood for something new that still tastes familiar, grab your pan and transform your breakfast into a real eye-catcher.
