You'll need:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 package puff pastry dough
  • 3/5 cup warm Nutella
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 5 oz chocolate

Here's how:

Cut the banana into 12 thick slices. Place them on one side of the rolled out pastry dough.

Now cut the dough into 12 strips that are exactly as wide as the banana slices.

Pour the warm Nutella onto the banana slices. You can warm it in the microwave to make it more fluid.

Starting on the side with the banana slices, roll the dough up. Lay the roll on a baking tray around a small ovenproof bowl to form a ring.

Baste the dough with the beaten egg and put chunks of chocolate into the bowl. Bake at 360°F for 20 minutes.

Only five ingredients and five steps later you've got yourself a very yummy snack that's sure to be a sweet sensation with your friends and family. This ring may not be made of gold or have a diamond, but when there's this much chocolate involved, does it really matter? ;)
