Halloween is just around the corner, so you'll need to serve up some appropriately themed snacks at your party. For this recipe, we've taken an old favorite and given it a spooky twist.
Ingredients
- hot dogs
- puff pastry
- egg wash
- ketchup and mayonnaise
Instructions
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into thin strips. You'll need one strip for each hot dog you want to mummify.
- Wrap each hot dog in a strip of pastry. It's probably easier to skewer the hot dogs first.
- Place the mummified hot dogs on a baking tray, brush on some egg wash, and bake at 360°F for 15 minutes. Add a set of eyes on each mummy hot dog using mayonnaise and ketchup before serving.
