You will need:

  • 1 oz ball fresh mozzarella
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • butter or cooking spray
  • chives as garnish
  • your favorite dipping sauce

Here's how:

  1. Cut the mozzarella ball in half.
  2. Coat each half in flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Grease the waffle iron with butter or cooking spray and on a medium-high setting, press the coated mozzarella for 2 minutes until golden.
  4. Garnish with chives.
  5. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. (Psst! Marinara sauce is a good one!)
