Mini Kinder Chocolate Bar Cakes: Indulgent Chocolate Cake With An Irresistible Liquid Center

There's actually not much you can do to improve a chocolate cake. But we're giving it a go by filling our delightful mini cakes with an indulgent liquid center and adding a layer of melt-in-the-mouth Kinder chocolate on top. We're sure you'll love it!

You'll Need (for 3):

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 3½ oz dark chocolate
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 13 Kinder bars

Here's How:

  1. Mix the eggs, sugar, and flour to create a smooth mixture.
  2. Melt the chocolate over a bain-marie and add the melted butter. Now fold the chocolate mix into the dough.
  3. Fill small round ramekins up to halfway with the dough mix. Soufflé ramekins are perfect for this. Press a third of a Kinder bar into the middle of each filled ramekin. Cover this with a small spoonful of dough mix and bake the cakes at 360°F for 15 minutes.
  4. While the cakes are baking, cut the remaining 12 Kinder bars into thin strips. As soon as the cakes are done, place the strip of Kinder bar on top in rows so that they start to melt.

The melted chocolate top is a real feast for the eyes — it (almost) seems a shame to plunge your spoon right through it! But the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and who can resist? Enjoy!
