MICROWAVE OATMEAL

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup oats
- 3/4 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- A pinch of cinnamon
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp agave nectar (maple syrup or honey)
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate (chopped, chunks or chips are all good)
- 1/4 cup trail mix
- 2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine the oats in a bowl with milk and cinnamon. Stir well and microwave at 800 watts for 2 minutes.
- As it cooks, peel and slice the banana.
- If desired, stir in the agave nectar. If still whole, break the dark chocolate into small pieces and stir into the still-warm oatmeal.
- Top it off with trail mix, nuts and banana and you’re good to go!
