MICROWAVE OATMEAL

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Total time: 10 minutes
  • Serving: 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar (maple syrup or honey)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate (chopped, chunks or chips are all good)
  • 1/4 cup trail mix
  • 2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine the oats in a bowl with milk and cinnamon. Stir well and microwave at 800 watts for 2 minutes.
  2. As it cooks, peel and slice the banana.
  3. If desired, stir in the agave nectar. If still whole, break the dark chocolate into small pieces and stir into the still-warm oatmeal.
  4. Top it off with trail mix, nuts and banana and you’re good to go!
