Marble Bundt Cake With White And Yellow Layers

What if you could turn a plain old bundt cake into a cute marble moment? Well, it's easier than you might think because all you need is standard cake batter and some cocoa powder. The secret to getting the cool wavy effect is to sieve the cocoa powder to create different layers within the batter. Trust us, it's not hard at all and the result is a stunning quirky cake that tastes as yummy as it looks!

You'll Need:

For the white batter:

  • 4 egg whites
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder

For the yellow batter:

  • 4 egg yolks
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Extra:

  • ½ cup cocoa powder, divided
  • 9-inch Bundt pan

Here's How:

1. Separate the egg yolks and egg whites into 2 different bowls.

2. Add ¾ cup sugar to the egg whites and ⅓ cup sugar to the egg yolks. Use a hand mixer to whisk the ingredients in both bowls until stiff.

3. Now add the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, milk, and baking powder from the list of ingredients for each batter. Sieve the flour into both bowls and then mix everything again with a hand mixer.

4. Preheat the oven to 350°F and start layering the two cake batters into the bundt pan. Start with about half of the yellow batter and pour it into the pan. Then sieve ⅓ of the cocoa powder over the batter.

5. Now pour in half of the white batter and sprinkle ⅓ of the cocoa powder on top. Pour the rest of the yellow batter in the pan, sieve the rest of the cocoa powder over it, and then add the rest of the white batter. Transfer the bundt pan to the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
