Have you had toast stuffed with strawberries, chocolate, bananas, and ice cream? Neither had we! That's why we sat down and created these two incredible recipes to test it out. The result? Amazing! Is it breakfast? Is it dessert? You be the judge!

You'll Need:

Strawberry Cream Dream:

  • ½ loaf of white bread
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 16 oz rice pudding
  • 3 oz strawberry syrup
  • 4 oz strawberries
  • 2 oz blackberries
  • 3 oz whipped cream
  • 3 oz strawberry syrup to garnish
  • chocolate sprinkles to garnish

Chocolate Banana Heaven:

  • ½ loaf white bread
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 5 tbsp Nutella
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 3 Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls
  • 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream

Here's How:

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cut the loaf of bread in half and cut off the ends. You will use 1 loaf half and 1 loaf end for each recipe.

1. Strawberry Cream Dream

1.1 Cut the loaf end into strips.

1.2 Cut out and remove the inside of the loaf.

1.3 Cut the inside of the loaf into small pieces.

1.4 Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and arrange the bread strips, bread pieces, and bread loaf on top. Place small pieces of butter on all of the bread and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and let cool.

1.5 Spoon some rice pudding into the bread loaf and cover with strawberry syrup.

1.6 Cut the strawberries into small pieces, spread them over the syrup, and top with some of the bread pieces.

1.7 Add another layer of rice pudding, strawberry syrup, strawberry pieces, and bread pieces to the loaf.

1.8 "Seal" the loaf with some rice pudding and top with whipped cream, blackberries, strawberry syrup, and chocolate sprinkles.

2. Chocolate Banana Heaven

2.1 Now take the other loaf half and loaf end and repeat Steps 1.1 – 1.4. Once the bread loaf has cooled down, spread Nutella on the inside base.

2.2 Place some banana slices on top of the Nutella and drizzle some honey on top.

2.3 Add some bread pieces and some more Nutella.

2.4 Add another layer of banana slices and honey, and "seal" the loaf with the remaining bread pieces.

2.5 Top the finished brick toast with ice cream, Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls, chocolate syrup, and honey.

And don't forget about the bread slices from the beginning – they make perfect dippers! These recipes are so refreshing, which makes them especially perfect for hot summer days. After all, it just wouldn't be summer without strawberries and ice cream.
