  • Casserole Dish
  • Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion
  • 14 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 4 hot dogs
  • 5 oz cheddar cheese, cut into finger-sized pieces

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the green pepper lightly. Add the onion and tomato sauce. Season with rosemary, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer.
  • Pour the sauce into a casserole dish.
  • Cut the pizza dough in a zig-zag fashion to create four triangles. Remove the outer two triangles.
  • Lay a hot dog at the bottom of each triangle and put a piece of cheese in front and behind it. Roll the dough up to the pointy end of the triangle. It should look a bit like a croissant.
  • Put the hot dog rolls in the sauce in the casserole dish. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
