Ingredients

  • 2 portions pizza dough
  • fresh basil
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 3 slices coppa ham
  • mini mozzarella balls
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano

Instructions

  • Spread the basil leaves out evenly on one of the portions of pizza dough. Lay the second portion of dough on top. Place a medium-sized bowl upside down on the dough and cut around it to create three circular portions of dough.
  • Slice the top off the tomatoes and hollow them out with a spoon.
  • Line the hollowed-out tomatoes with a slice of ham and fill each one with mini mozzarella balls. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  • Pinch the dough together at regular intervals around the edges to create a flower shape. Place one tomato in the middle of each dough flower and pull the dough around it.
  • Bake the tomatoes encased in the pizza dough for 15 minutes at 360°F.
