Homemade Chocolate Croissants: Put The Butter Inside & Neatly Wrap It Up

Our divine coffee cinnamon rolls combine two of the best flavors: warm, spicy cinnamon and the aromatic richness of coffee. This makes them an excellent addition to your afternoon coffee or even for breakfast. They are also wonderful as a snack to take along on the road or even on a gorgeous walk.

Coffee Cinnamon Rolls: Wonderfully Aromatic

Did you know that cinnamon rolls are originally from Scandinavia? They are especially popular in Sweden, where they enjoy almost a cult status. October 4th is even celebrated as “Cinnamon Roll Day” by the Swedes! But cinnamon rolls have also established themselves in bakeries and cafes worldwide, as evidenced by how well they are loved in the States. These sweet, soft rolls, filled with cinnamon, butter and sugar, are an absolute breakfast classic.

For all those who love the classic cinnamon pastry and enjoy a good cup of coffee, here comes the next level of enjoyment: Coffee cinnamon rlls! As the name suggests, we’re adding a touch of coffee to these treats. The instant coffee in the filling and the coffee glaze provide a subtle coffee flavor that blends perfectly with the sweet cinnamon mixture.

The preparation is simple and can be easily managed even by baking beginners. After preparing the dough, let it rest in a warm place until it has risen nicely. Then roll out the and spread it generously with a mixture of butter, sugar, cinnamon, cocoa and coffee. Rolling it up creates the typical spiral shape, which you’ll want to nibble on even when it’s raw. After a short proofing time, pop rolls into the oven and bake them until golden brown. The last touch of coffee glaze will add the perfect finishing touch.

If you find that you’re on a roll, then we advise you to also try our strawberry cinnamon rolls. We also have ther breakfast baked goods like our Fanta cake waffles and cherry-filled puff pastry crumble squares.
