Raffaello And Ferrero Rocher Chocolate Cup Shooters

If you think there's nothing better than going to town on a bunch of Raffaello or Ferrero Rocher balls, we're sorry to say that you're wrong. Granted, both candies are utterly divine, and quite hard to beat in terms of flavor and texture. Still, there's always room to improve, right? We're here to make the case that these sweets should be the star of the show, not just an afterthought. That's why we've turned them into cute chocolate cups and filled them with a delicious boozy combination of rum, Raffaello, and Ferrero Rocher. We guarantee that this delicious recipe is slated to become your new go-to dessert!

You'll Need:

Ferrero Rocher Cups (makes 4):

  • 8 Ferrero Rocher balls
  • 4 oz milk chocolate, chopped
  • 4 small paper cups
  • chopped hazelnuts
  • melted milk chocolate

Raffaello Cups (makes 4):

  • 4 Raffaello balls
  • 4 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 4 small paper cups
  • shredded coconut
  • melted white chocolate

Ferrero Rocher Cocktail:

  • 8 Ferrero Rocher balls
  • 1¼ cups chocolate milk
  • 1 shot brown rum

Raffaello Cocktail:

  • 8 Raffaello balls
  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • ⅓ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 shot white rum

Here's How:

1. For the Ferrero Rocher cups, crush the balls with a fork and then melt them along with the chopped chocolate in a hot water bath.

2. Fill the paper cups with the melted chocolate and pour out the chocolate so that only the insides of the cups are covered in chocolate. Alternatively, you can use a brush to generously cover the insides of the cups. It doesn't matter which technique you end up using, just make sure that the chocolate is thick enough. If necessary, you can repeat this step to ensure that the chocolate in the cups is thick enough and won't break later. Refrigerate the cups until the chocolate has completely set.

3. Carefully remove the paper cups from the chocolate shell. Melt some milk chocolate in a hot water bath and brush the rim of the cups with it, then press the rims with the melted chocolate into the chopped hazelnuts, making sure that they stick to the melted chocolate. Refrigerate the cups once again until the chocolate has completely set.

4. Make the Raffaello cups the same way you made the Ferrero Rocher cups.

5. While the cups are being refrigerated, it's time to make the drinks, so mix together the listed ingredients for each flavor. Before serving, fill the Ferrero Rocher cups with the Raffaelo drink and the Raffaello cups with the Ferrero Rocher drink.
