You'll Need:

  • 10 oz rice
  • 1 and 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp ginger, cut into small strips
  • 2 tsp vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • green onion

For the dips:

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sweet and sour sauce
  • lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp spring onion
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 2 tsp sugar

Here's How:

  1. Wash the rice with cold water and put it into a pan. Add the water, ginger, vegetable broth, soy sauce, oil and salt. Mix the ingredients thoroughly before placing the chicken breasts and onion on top. Put the lid on the pan and let simmer on low heat for 14 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the pan sit covered for another 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the sauces. For the first, mix 1/4 cup of soy sauce with the honey. The second sauce consists of sweet and sour sauce mixed with lemon juice and for the third, mix 1 tbsp of soy sauce with the sesame oil, spring onion, sugar and ginger.

All the variety of a restaurant, created in your own kitchen. You can't go wrong with this light, guilt-free meal, and the dips can be spiced up to your liking. Enjoy!
