Ice Cream Sundae Brownie Bowl

Not much beats ice cream, but if you're tired of the same ol' waffle cone or eating your sundae out of a boring ol' bowl, why not try something a bit different, like transforming a brownie into an ice cream bowl? It might sound far-fetched, but as you'll see, it's actually pretty easy to do. And the best thing is, just like a cone, you can eat the container when the ice cream's all gone!

You'll Need (for 6):

For the brownie bowls:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt

For the ice cream sundaes:

  • 6 scoops of ice cream
  • caramel sauce
  • chocolate sprinkles

Here's How:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Beat the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy and then mix in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

2. Grease a 6-cup muffin pan, evenly divide the brownie batter between the molds, and bake for 25 minutes.

3. Remove the muffin pan from the oven, grease the bottom and lower sides of a glass with vegetable oil, press the glass into the brownies, and let them cool.

Fill the brownie bowls with a scoop of ice cream and top with caramel sauce and chocolate sprinkles. With a dessert like this, you'll forget how good the main course was! You can find the recipe for the Magic Chocolate Lava Cake featured in the bonus video here.
