Blackberry Soda Float – Sweeten Your Celebration With Fruity Ice Cream!

If shaken or held the wrong way, a carbonated beverage can lead to disaster. But you can also use the bubbly effects of sparkling water to your advantage by creating this light, fruity beverage. Go on and sweeten up your balmy summer evenings!

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g blackberries
  • 50 g sugar
  • 90 ml water
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 360 ml sparkling water

Instructions
 

  • Place the blackberries, sugar, and water into a pot and bring to a boil. Cook the ingredients until they reach a thick, jam-like consistency.
  • Using the back of a spoon, press the mixture through a sieve, creating a thick blackberry syrup.
  • Pour some of the syrup into a large glass, followed by the ice cream and more syrup. Finally, fill the glass with sparkling water and watch the foamy goodness unfold!
