How to Make a Strawberry Gin Fizz

Before we mix our strawberry gin fizz, let’s delve into a little cocktail history: The classic gin forefather fizz dates all the way back to the 19th century. While gin clearly refers to the main liquor used inthe drink, the “fizz” half refers to the soda water which gives this cocktail its classic sparkle. Otherwise, the original gin fizz recipe was simply a mix of gin, soda water, lemon juice, and symple syrup: uncomplicated and ingenious.

Perhaps one of gin’s most characteristic qualities is its rich juniper fragrance. But, don’t let the smell fool you, no two gins taste the same: From citrusy to herbaceous, from floral to earthy, every gin tells its own story. This makes it perfect for creative recipes like our strawberry gin fizz. Whether you’re a fan of classic dry gin or prefer a beginner-friendly, slightly sweet gin, the soul of your gin of choice will definitely shines through in this drink.

In our modern twist with strawberries, we give the classic a visual and flavorful update. Freshly puréed strawberries provide a fruity lightness that makes the drink truly irresistible. The gin, as usuall, will provide depth and elegance. Topped up with soda, our strawberry gin fizz will bring a beautiful sparkle to every event, whether indoor or outdoor event.

Our strawberry gin fizz is super easy to make and still guaranteed to be a hit. Whether you enjoy it all by yourself or share it with friends is up to you. One thing is certain: This spirit will lift your spirits. So, grab the strawberries and let the ice cubes clink. Cheers!
