4 Puff Pastry Party Dippers

Puff pastry is such a versatile and easy-to-use ingredient that we like to have it on hand at all times. We can't even count the number of times we've been in a pinch and needed to come up with a recipe, only to have puff pastry save the day! These delicious puff pastry party dippers are the ultimate in snack food, perfect for your next party or gathering. They make quick & easy snacks or appetizers that are dippable, shareable, and can be topped off with whatever ingredients you want. We'll show you how to make these tasty treats using 4 of our favorite flavor combinations, but feel free to switch things up and experiment with toppings and fillings of your own. 1. Pizza Party Dippers

You'll Need:

  • 1 round puff pastry sheet
  • 3 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 10 slices of pepperoni
  • 1–2 mozzarella balls, sliced
  • banana peppers
  • 1 whisked egg for the egg wash 
  • oregano for the topping
  • BBQ sauce for the dip

Here's How:

1.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the round puff pastry sheet on the baking tray, then flip a small bowl upside down and place it in the center of the dough.

1.2 Spread the tomato sauce on the puff pastry dough around the outside of the bowl, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella, and place the slices of pepperoni, banana peppers, and slices of fresh mozzarella on top. Remove the bowl and use a pizza cutter to make 4 cuts through the uncovered section of dough, as if you were slicing a pizza.

1.3 Fold the triangular segments of uncovered dough over the toppings and press them into the dough around the outer edge of the puff pastry sheet.

1.4 Whisk an egg for the egg wash and brush it over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle oregano on top. Transfer the baking tray to the oven and bake the pizza party dippers at 350°F for 30 minutes. Place a bowl of BBQ sauce in the center of the ring to serve.

2. Hot Dog Party Dippers

You'll Need:

  • 1 round puff pastry sheet
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • pickles 
  • 3 hot dogs, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 whisked egg for the egg wash 
  • crispy fried onions for the topping
  • honey mustard sauce for the dip

Here's How:

2.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the round puff pastry sheet on the baking tray, then flip a small bowl upside down and place it in the center of the dough. Spread the mustard on the puff pastry dough around the outside of the bowl, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella, and place the pickles and chopped hot dogs on top.

2.2 Remove the bowl and use a pizza cutter to make 4 cuts through the uncovered section of dough. Fold the triangular segments of uncovered dough over the toppings and press them into the dough around the outer edge of the puff pastry sheet.

2.3 Whisk an egg for the egg wash and brush it over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle crispy fried onions on top. Transfer the baking tray to the oven and bake the hot dog party dippers at 350°F for 30 minutes. Place a bowl of honey mustard sauce in the center of the ring to serve.

3. Spicy Taco Party Dippers

You'll Need:

  • 1 round puff pastry sheet
  • ⅓ cup taco meat
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • jalapeños
  • 1 whisked egg for the egg wash 
  • shredded mozzarella for the topping
  • guacamole for the dip

Here's How:

3.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the round puff pastry sheet on the baking tray, then flip a small bowl upside down and place it in the center of the dough. Spread the taco meat on the puff pastry dough around the outside of the bowl, sprinkle with shredded cheddar, and place the jalapeños on top.

3.2 Remove the bowl and use a pizza cutter to make 4 cuts through the uncovered section of dough. Fold the triangular segments of uncovered dough over the toppings and press them into the dough around the outer edge of the puff pastry sheet. Whisk an egg for the egg wash and brush it over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.

3.3 Transfer the baking tray to the oven and bake the spicy taco party dippers at 350°F for 30 minutes. Place a bowl of guacamole in the center of the ring to serve.

4. Apple & Almond Party Dippers

You'll Need:

  • 1 round puff pastry sheet
  • 3 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 2 oz marzipan or almond paste, sliced
  • 2 tbsp slivered almonds
  • cinnamon + melted butter
  • vanilla yogurt for the dip

Here's How:

4.1 Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the round puff pastry sheet on the baking tray, then flip a small bowl upside down and place it in the center of the dough. Spread the apple sauce on the puff pastry dough around the outside of the bowl, place the diced apple and sliced marzipan on top, and sprinkle with slivered almonds.

4.2 Remove the bowl and use a pizza cutter to make 4 cuts through the uncovered section of dough. Fold the triangular segments of uncovered dough over the toppings and press them into the dough around the outer edge of the puff pastry sheet. Melt some butter and mix it together with some cinnamon, then brush the mixture over the surface of the dough.

4.3 Transfer the baking tray to the oven and bake the apple & almond party dippers at 350°F for 30 minutes. Place a bowl of vanilla yogurt in the center of the ring to serve.
