You can even eat the bowl! Ice Cream in a Brownie
There's not much that beats some nice cold ice cream on a hot summer day. But if you're a bit tired of the same old ice cream cone, why not try something a bit different, like transforming a brownie into an ice cream bowl? It might sound far-fetched, but as you'll see, it's actually pretty easy to do. And the best thing is, just like a cone, you can eat the container when the ice cream's all gone...
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- Put the butter, sugar, eggs, flour, cocoa, vanilla extract, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl and mix it into a batter.
- Divide the batter into equal portions and put them in a greased cupcake baking form. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 °F for 25 minutes.
- When you take the form out of the oven, coat the bottom and the sides of a glass with vegetable oil and press it into the brownies. Let them cool.
Now you have six little brownie bowls that you can fill with your favorite ice cream. And why not add a bit more to make sundaes? Some chocolate syrup, a few sprinkles, hot caramel... whatever your heart desires. With a dessert like this, you'll probably forget how good the main course was!
