A hamburger and a hot hog, delightfully combined

A hot, steamy burger fresh from the grill is the ultimate indulgence. But a warm hot dog, tightly snuggled in a soft bun is just as good. No, a burger is always the better choice. Or wait, is a hot dog better? Oh what the heck, simply combine them both! The hamburger hot dog is sure to satisfy all your grilling needs!

You will need:

  • 8 oz cheddar cheese
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Here's how:

  1. Cut the cheddar cheese into thick strips and season the ground beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Flatten a portion of beef on a cutting board, and place a strip of cheese on top. Roll the ground beef so that it forms a hot dog shape. Make sure the ends of the "hot dog" are tightly closed to prevent the cheese from leaking!
  3. Grill until evenly browned and lightly charred.
  4. Now place your hamburger hot dogs in hot dog buns, add ketchup and mustard, and enjoy!

Irresistibly tasty! What would happen if you added an additional step and wrapped the hamburger hot dog in a pizza? Now that would certainly be a whole new spin on the calzone!
