Breakfast just got fluffier: Egg Cloud on Toast
Everyone is familiar with a good old-fashioned fried egg. But if you're interested in "fluffing" up your morning routine, then this recipe is for you:
You will need (for one cloud):
- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup grated parmesan
- Separate the egg white and the yolk, placing the yolk on the side. Beat the egg white stiff, adding the parmesan.
- Transfer the egg white to a greased baking sheet and bake for 3 minutes at 350°F. After this time, gently pour the yolk into the middle of the "cloud," and bake for another 2 minutes.
Serve your egg cloud on a warm piece of toast, and season to your liking. The day will certainly be off to a heavenly start!
